Thirty years inventing shots

Revolution 435 D&C is a 100% Mexican company founded in 1992. We started renting film cameras and ended up building the gear that did not exist: our name comes from the ARRI 435 and the lens system we invented for it.

Building what is missing

When a production asked for an impossible shot, the easy answer was to say it could not be done. We preferred the workshop. That is where the 360°-rotating Revolution Lens system came from, along with the Revo Spacecam, the Súper Revo platforms and more than a hundred adaptations that are now simply part of the inventory.

Our shutter system for the ARRI 435 was used on shots in Gladiator, Man on Fire and The Passion of the Christ. That same mindset runs the daily operation: gear checked before it leaves, specialized technicians per department, and problems solved in the workshop rather than over email.

Today the group runs on three fronts: the rental house in General Anaya, the Revo Stage SM soundstage in Azcapotzalco and the Black Unicorn system for moving shots.
